I have a 12-year-old son who is currently receiving vision therapy with Dr Carl Myers, in Ft Wayne, Indiana (so thankful for their assistance and care!). He has completed 12 months of therapy and made great improvements however his Dr would like to extend his therapy another 8 weeks. Seeking advice to see if we should complete the 8-week extension, stop therapy and begin Iconix, or continue with the 8-weeks of therapy while getting started with Iconix. I understand this is a difficult question to answer not knowing his history and reasons for therapy, but we have to make this decision soon. We also have 3 other children who would greatly benefit from Iconix as well and not sure what options we might have for the entire family. Thanks for any advice and willing to talk with someone specifically, just not sure who to contact? I am so thankful for this opportunity, and I am learning so much with this course and excited to be helping my kiddos learn to see!!!

I am nearsighted.I've worn glasses since I was 12 and needed them before that. I've got a spot on top of my head that has been hit several times over the years. A doorknob hit it several years ago and gave me a severe concussion migraine... ever since then, my vision seems off to me. I feel like I see better without my glasses unless it's a great distance. I don't wear my glasses daily any more because of it. My eye dr. suggested I wear a single contact but, even that frustrates me. I was told nothing is wrong with my vision and that my Rx is correct. I can't read for any real length of time without the migraine coming back. For an avid reader, you can understand how this could be challenging!
