We are beginning our 8th week within the Learning Pods and our 3rd month of consistent work on the clinical side with one of our children. I am wondering if anyone else, as a parent working with their child(ren), may have experienced a period early on of an inability to recall specific words and a struggle with spelling? I feel like I have a diminished vocabulary and spelling everyday words are giving me pause. Is it possible that this is simply a temporary hump during the process of Play, Merge, Replace as my own mind adjusts to relying on imagery? I know I am not referencing the correct terms here... Basically, is my brain on the cusp of overriding decades old "bad habits", or am I just getting old and tired?
